I spend many hours every day in my home office chair, and although my chair is only a year old and is ergonomic with a fairly good memory foam seat, it seems that it has gotten flatter over time, which is resulting in much lower back pain and sometimes my butt and legs actually fall asleep and I have to go lie down for awhile. Since getting this cushion, I have not had that problem. It's fairly thick (ranges from about 2.5 inches in the center to almost 4 inches on the outer edges), firm but cushy, retains it's shape after long hours of sitting, and doesn't slip. It has non-slip rubber-like dots on the bottom and the Velcro and strap holds the 2 halves together very well. The fabric covering is very soft to the touch, and has zippers so it can be removed and washed. I like that it can be folded in half and put in the included storage bag if I want to take it with me for use outside the home. I also use it to elevate my legs a little higher than the footrest does while sitting in my recliner watching TV, and it's very comfortable for that purpose. So far I'm loving this cushion and couldn't be happier having less pain! I definitely recommend it to anyone suffering from back pain who has to sit for long hours.

I freaking love this cushion! I have a history of back surgery and sciatic pain. I put this pillow on the couch, in the recliner, my office chair-literally anywhere I am sitting and it creates such a wonderful level of comfort! I can sit for long periods without my back or sciatica bothering me, which is so nice. If I get up from the couch, my dog steals my spot. Even he loves this thing! It provides so much support and is super soft. It is very well made. The cover is washable and easy to remove. It comes with a nice travel bag. It has a strap to keep it from moving around on a regular chair. Each side velcros together, so you can use it as a seat cushion, double it up to support a limb or neck, or separate them to use as individual pieces. This cushion has become a self care item for me and has lived up to its value!

I work from home and sit at my desk for 8+ hours a day, and my tailbone pain was getting unbearable. This cushion has honestly been a lifesaver. The T-shaped cutout targets exactly where I need relief, and I can actually feel the pressure being redistributed. After a week of use, my hip and tailbone pain has decreased significantly.
The two-piece design with Velcro is really clever—I can adjust my position easily, which is especially helpful during long Zoom meetings. The memory foam is high-quality and hasn't flattened out like cheaper cushions I've tried. It molds to my body but still provides firm support, which is the perfect balance.
I love that the cover is removable and washable. I've already thrown it in the wash once, and it came out perfectly fine. The anti-slip bottom keeps it in place on my office chair, and the straps provide extra security. I've also used it in my car on a long road trip, and it worked great there too.
The only reason I'm taking off one star is that it took a few days to get comfortable with the feel. The split design and cutout felt a bit strange at first, but once I adjusted, it became super comfortable. Just give yourself a little time to adapt.
If you deal with tailbone pain, pressure sores, or just need better support for long sitting sessions, this is absolutely worth trying!

[Bomggic Memory Foam Cushions]
This pillow is more like 2 pillows in one. Not only is it well shaped to relieve pressure on the coccyx area, it also can be folded or separated into 2 pieces for elevation of a leg/nub. The inner foam portion feels like latex memory type foam. It is thick and doesn't give a lot, but it does mold to whatever part of you is pressing down on it.
All measurements are approximate:
⦁ Thickness of the pad varies from 9.25cm / 3.5 in to 6.5cm / 2.5 in - it's tapered.
⦁ Width is 43cm / 17 in
⦁ Length 42cm / 6.25 in
The back has 2 velcro sections which keep the two halves together. There is also an elastic band with a clip to allow the pad to be secured to a chair/wheelchair/etc.
There are no-slip dots all over the back.
The each half of the cover is a soft fabric with a side zipper. The fabric cover can be removed for cleaning.
There is a fabric handle on the side for ease of carrying.
A black bag for storage or transport is included.
The only negative is the initial smell. It comes vacuum sealed into a long cylindrical plastic bag. As soon as you open it the scent is strong. This pad definitely needs to be aired out for a few days before use. Especially if you have any chemical sensitivities.
The price is a bit high for such a firm cushion.
